What Venuo is
Venuo is an event directory. We list events that other people organise, and we help you find them.
Unless a listing says otherwise, we do not organise the events on Venuo. We do not sell tickets, and we do not take payment for them.
Event information
We work to keep listings accurate, but the details come from organisers and public sources, and they change. Dates, venues, prices and line-ups can move, and events can be cancelled.
Before you travel or pay for anything, check the details with the organiser.
Tickets and payments
A ticket link on Venuo takes you to the organiser’s own page or to their ticketing provider. Any purchase is between you and them. Questions about tickets, refunds, entry and cancellations should go to the organiser or the seller.
Listing an event
Listing an event on Venuo is currently free. We may introduce paid options in future. If we do, we will tell you before anything you have listed becomes chargeable.
When you send us an event, you confirm that:
- you are the organiser, or you have the organiser’s permission to list it;
- the details are accurate, and you will tell us promptly if they change or the event is cancelled;
- you own the text and images you send, or you have the right to use them;
- the event is lawful.
You keep ownership of what you send us. You give us permission to publish it on Venuo, to resize, crop and shorten it so that it fits our pages, and to use it when we promote listings, for example in the weekly rundown or on social media.
We review every listing by hand. We may edit a listing for clarity, decline it, unpublish it or remove it at our discretion.
Badges
The verified badge means we have taken steps to confirm who an organiser is. It is not a guarantee of any event, and it is not an endorsement. We decide who is verified, and we can remove the badge.
The Founding Organiser badge recognises the first 50 organisers to list an event through Venuo from 3 November 2026. It is a mark of recognition and has no cash value. We award it in good faith, and our decision on who receives it is final.
The weekly rundown
The weekly rundown is an optional email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any issue.
Using the site fairly
Please do not:
- submit listings that are false, misleading or unlawful, or that use other people’s work without permission;
- pretend to be another person or organiser;
- copy the directory in bulk, or collect other people’s details from it;
- interfere with the site, or try to get around its security.
Who owns what
The Venuo name, logo and design, and the text we write, belong to us. Text and images supplied by organisers belong to them or to whoever licensed them.
Other websites
Venuo links to websites we do not run, including ticketing pages, maps and social networks. We are not responsible for what is on them or for how they operate.
Our responsibility to you
Venuo is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss arising from an event listed on Venuo, including a cancellation or change, what happens at an event, or a ticket bought from an organiser or seller, or from relying on the details in a listing.
Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law.
Reporting a problem
If a listing is wrong, or uses your work without permission, or should not be on Venuo, email thekulturecompanyltd@gmail.com. We will look into it and, where it is right to do so, correct or remove it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Venuo after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
